It is with great sadness that the family of Anthony William Sorge announce his sudden passing on Friday, February 5 at the young age of 47.  Tony was born on March 7, 1973 in Washington, DC, at Providence Hospital.  He was a graduate of High Point High School in Beltsville, MD.  He is survived by his father, Joseph, Jr. of Laurel, MD, his older brother, Joseph III (Joey), sister-in-law Lori and nieces Winona Anne and Sophia Lynne of Bloomfield, NJ  and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from both the Sorge and Paolucci families.  Tony’s mother, Rita Anne Sorge (née Paolucci) predeceased him in June 2020.  Services will be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in College Park, MD, on Monday, February 22.  Covid restrictions limit attendees to 100 people.  Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD, where covid restrictions limit attendees to only 25 people. Tony will be laid to rest next to his mother.  He was a loving son, brother and uncle and will live forever in our hearts.
