Barbara A. Jeffers

On Thursday, June 13, 2013, Barbara A. Jeffers passed away at the Howard County General Hospital. Mrs. Jeffers was born in Scranton, PA on May 24, 1940. She was a homemaker and very active in her community and a member of Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church. Mrs. Jeffers was also a member of the Laurel Senior Friendship Club, Ladies of VFW Post 2979, Ladies of the Moose, the Emerald Society of Washington, DC and the Maryland City Civic Association & Recreation Council. Mrs. Jeffers is survived by her loving husband Daniel Jeffers; daughter Kimberly Rau; sons Daniel, Richard, Michael and Robert Jeffers and her brother Jack Jorgenson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jeffers was predeceased by her parents Robert Snyder and Mildred Jorgenson; her grandparents Richard and Ann O'Hora and her aunt and uncle, Grace and Bob Williams. A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, 11 am, at the Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church, 8402 Brock Bridge Rd., Laurel, MD 20724. Interment will be private. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church or to a charity of your choice
