Barbara L. (Morton) Carpenter

Barbara L. Carpenter, 83, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, died on March 10, 2022.

Barbara loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed square dancing with her late husband Roger Carpenter, singing in her church choir, and traveling to visit lighthouses along the East Coast.

She is survived by her sons Dale and Dean, daughter Dana, sister Betty, son-in-law Vince, daughter-in-law Bonnie, grandchildren Krystal, Kim, Sal, Samantha, Vincent, Victoria, and great-grandchildren Devin and Julianna. Her parents, Raymond and Esther Morton, as well as her older brother, Billy Morton, predeceased her.

A celebration of life service will be held on March 16, 2022, at 11 a.m., at First Baptist Church of Laurel, 15000 First Baptist Ln, Laurel, MD 20707.
