Betty M. Blackard

Betty Marie Francis Blackard, 83, of Jessup passed away at Gilchrist Hospice in Columbia on May 16, 2014. She was born on December 31, 1930 in Washington, D.C. to the late Hugh V. and Carrie Mae Francis. She is survived by her loving children; Diane Hedlund, Kathy Murphy, Fred Hodges, Darleen Hodges, and Lee Blackard, Jr.; sister Nancy Pettit; devoted grandchildren Tammy Bartee, Carrie Snoots, Brandi Hogan, Fred Hodges, Jr., Stephanie Hedlund, Samantha Hodges, Michael Murphy, and Ryan Murphy; and great-grandchildren Jesse, Travis, Michael, Edward, Hayden, and Alyssa.
