Betty Rexine Booze

On October 24, 2016 Betty Rexine Booze passed peacefully at home while in the compassionate nursing care of Patricia Harris and Alice Carroll of Laurel.  Her devoted husband Jim was also by her side to ease the way.  Betty started a construction business with Jim in 1984, and helped manage it until a few years ago.  She was also involved in various clubs and organizations in Laurel, and enjoyed performing comedy magic.  She was especially proud of working with other performers to entertain soldiers returning from their military duties.  She is survived by her three children, Elizabeth, Cameron and Michael Rexine, and four grandchildren, Zachary, Matthew and Jacob Rexine, and Ashly Ohmann.  Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Donaldson Funeral Home, PA., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, Maryland 20707 on Friday from 4 until 7 pm at which time a funeral service will be held.  Graveside service will be held at St. John’s Chapel in Cambridge, Maryland on Saturday at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Fisher House Foundation.
