Betty Jane Boyer

Betty Jane Boyer, 90, passed away on February 26, 2014 at Sanctuary of Holy Cross in Burtonsville. She was born on May 24, 1923 in Ohio to the late William and Amanda Pence. She has been a Laurel resident since 1955. She worked for Baxter Inc. in Savage, MD and retired at age 65 as a circuit technician.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dudley DeWitt Boyer; brothers Delbert and Spurgeon Pence and sisters Cora Oliver, Annabelle Lacy, and Leora Conkle. She is survived by her daughter Mary Lou Poe and her husband Hubert; sons DeWitte Boyer and his wife Sandra and Clark Lee Boyer and his wife Sandra; siblings Gene Pence, Geneieve Tyson, Doris Griffith, and Dudley Pence. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
