Betty I. Brown

On July 27th, 2024, Betty Ivadine Brown, 89, passed away in Laurel, MD, with loving family by her side. She was born in Martinsburg, WV on January 10, 1935 to the late Wallace and Ivadine (nee Edwards) Reynolds, and grew up there. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Brown, with whom she had eight children, all of whom now mourn her loss- Dorothy, Wallace, Jennie, Greta, Bob, Coco, Guy, and Heather. Betty is also survived by her brother Wallace Reynolds. After her husband’s death, she worked for the architect of the Capitol for 20 years, then went on to become a home health care provider for 30 years. Her strong Christian faith was a guide and comfort to her throughout her life, and playing bingo and singing in harmony with her family brought her great joy over the years. Her children, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren all survive their beloved Grandma/Grammy, and celebrate her life and love she shared with all of us. We miss and love her always and take comfort in knowing she is with her Savior.
