Betty Brown Clark

Betty Clark, beloved wife for 60 years of the late Jack Clark, passed away on Sunday May 18, 2014. Mrs. Clark was born in Maryland on March 21, 1926 to Laurence and Helen Brown. She met the love of her life, Jack, in California, during WW II and they were married in Vallejo, CA in January 1946. Betty was active with family and school activities, church and girl scouts. She was a volunteer with the Laurel Regional Hospital Auxiliary for 20 years and she loved dancing and playing bridge. Betty was a member of a local bridge club and hosted many games in her home. She is survived by her daughters Diana (Cliff) Ericksen of Chico, CA and Jean (Steve) Weiland of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren Brenda and Brian Dorsey and great-grandson Leo Dorsey. She is also survived by step-grandchildren Vince (Brenda) Ericksen and Melissa (David) Marshall and her longtime friend and caregiver Mary Jane Gaylor. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 29, from 10 until 11 am in the chapel of the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel where services will begin at 11. Interment will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park.
