Bill Wenzel

William “Bill” Wenzel Jr., Age 68, of Laurel, Maryland, died on Friday, January 16, 2014. Born May 2, 1946 in Riverdale, Maryland, Bill considered himself a lifelong Laurel resident. Bill was a graduate of Laurel High School (1964) and Towson University (1991). He was an avid bowler at both Laurel Fair Lanes and Columbia's Brunswick Lanes, enjoyed following local sporting teams, and found enjoyment, pleasure and relaxation in his collections of records and movies.
Bill is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jane, his children Kristen (Mark Peele) Wenzel of Catonsville, and Stephen (Kristin) Wenzel of Laurel, grandchildren Katie Hinton, Mike, Jonathan and Clifton Peele, brother Dick (Ruth) Wenzel of Fremont, California, and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William L. and Betty Jane (Gunter) Wenzel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22nd from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. in Laurel, Maryland. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 23rd, in the chapel of the Donaldson Funeral Home.
