Bob Ellinger
July 31, 1948 — June 11, 2017
Bob “Uncle Bob” Ellinger, age 68, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the Patuxent River Health & Rehabilitation Center in Laurel, MD.
Bob was born on July 31, 1948 to Margaret Ann (Hopkins) Ellinger and the James Lester Ellinger. Bob lived his entire life in the Laurel area. Bob retired from the University of Maryland where he was employed in the Residental Facilities department.
Bob is survived by his mother, Margaret Ellinger and his siblings’ Donald Ellinger, Juanita Beach, and David Beachler. Bob has two children; Lisa Marie Meneely and Robert Ellinger, Jr. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren.
Bob was sports fan and especially enjoyed automobile racing and the Baltimore Orioles.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 beginning at 6:30 PM in the Chapel of the Donaldson Funeral Home, 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707.
