Bonnie Mae Kaiser passed away on September 27, 2024 after an illness. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles I. Burton and Catherine M. Giddings and her brother Charles T. Burton. Mrs. Kaiser is survived by her children Michael Brent Kaiser and his wife Grace Lynn Kaiser and daughter Julie Mae Roberts, grandchildren Rebekah Williamson, Zoe Roberts, Dylan Kaiser, Mackenzie Hoopengardner and spouse Noah, Stan-Lee Roberts and great granddaughter Serenity sister Joan Burton Carl.
She was a life long resident of Howard County and graduated from Glenelg High School in 1965 and worked for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center until she retired in 2002. During her time she was employed at NASA she received many awards and recognition for her performance in the Office of Personnel Management, she was often referred to as a "jack of all trades". Mrs. Kaiser enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, she looked forward to and often talked about the lunch bunch group. Her hobbies included reading, crocheting, she also enjoyed making baby blankets for the babies in the congregation of her church and teaching Sunday School at Emmanuel United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed watching daytime soap operas and loved collection angels.
The family will receive friends at at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel on Wednesday, October 2 from 4 to 6 PM. A Memorial Service will be held on at Emmanuel United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 5 at 11 AM.
