Brian M. Bennett

January 14, 1983 — April 19, 2026

Pasadena

Brian Michael Bennett, age 43, passed away unexpectedly in Pasadena, Maryland on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Born on January 14, 1983, son of Bob and Eileen Bennett and brother of Diane Nestor, Brian was raised in Laurel, Maryland, where he spent most of his life and built deep roots in the community he loved.

He attended St. Vincent Pallotti High School, where he was involved in many activities but was best remembered as the quarterback on the football team, and previously attended St. Mary of the Mills Catholic School and Pallotti Early Learning Center. Brian had a lifelong love of football. In addition to playing in high school, he remained active in the sport for years through competitive flag football, forming lasting friendships through the game.

Since 2017, Brian worked for the Department of Public Works, where he was a dedicated and hardworking employee who truly went above and beyond in his role. Even after being promoted to supervisor, Brian could often be found out in the community working alongside his crew members or taking on jobs himself to make sure everything that needed to be done was completed—and done well. He took immense pride in his work and in serving the community that helped raise him. Brian was known as one of the friendliest people you could ever meet. He would go out of his way to help his family, friends, neighbors, and even complete strangers. He always had a smile on his face and a way of making others feel seen and cared for.

No matter how busy life became, Brian was always the first to reach out, check in, and stay connected with the people he loved. He had a natural ability to sense when someone needed support and was always there to listen, talk, and offer comfort in whatever way he could.

Brian’s greatest joy in life was his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Bennett, with whom he shared eight years of marriage, and their two daughters: Stevie, age 9, and Blake, age 1. He was the ultimate girl dad—singing along to Taylor Swift, playing princesses, and never missing a chance to go to Stevie’s friends’ birthday parties. His girls were his whole world, and everything he did was for them. He was a devoted husband and a proud, loving father whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and strength to those around him.Brian will be remembered for his kind heart, his unwavering loyalty, and the genuine care he showed to everyone he met. His impact on those who knew him will never be forgotten.

Brian’s memory will live on in the lives he touched and the family he cherished.
