Bridie Trigger, a longtime Laurel resident, passed away on September 9, 2016. Bridie was born in Ireland, to the late John and Elena Gill, on April 12, 1931. Bridie moved to Laurel, from New York, in 1954 and later became a member of St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James L. Trigger. Bridie is survived by her children Helena (Timmy) Newberry, Mary (Richard) Muth, Margaret Trigger, Anne Trigger, Karen (Todd) Woods and James (Darla) Trigger; sisters Mamie O’Sullivan, Margaret Burns and Helen Bracken. She is also survived by her grandchildren Julie, Bryan, Chris, Meghan, Caity, Colleen, Ryan and Kathleen and 10 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, 10:30 am, at St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018 or online at www.pdf.org
