Carl A. Marasco
August 5, 1933 — March 6, 2014
Carl A. Marasco, 80, of Westminster Maryland, passed away, Thursday March 6th 2014 after a 2 week battle with pneumonia.
He was born on August 5, 1933 in Rochester, NY to Natale and Helena Marasco. He served his country proudly during the Korean War. He was a former resident of Laurel, MD and worked as a United States Government Contractor. He was preceded in death by his sister Arkie Canton; his brother Norman Marasco and Jean Marasco, his wife of 50 years. Prior to his wife's passing Carl and Jean had retired in Chincoteague Virginia.
He is survived by his children; daughter Carla J. Keehn and his sons Dean J. Marasco and Christopher G. Marasco; his brother Nelson Marasco and his grandchildren Joseph, Anthony, Nicholas, Benjamin, Gabrielle, Joseph and Jacob.
A private family memorial service will be held in Sterling, NY where he will be laid to rest in Spring Brook Cemetery with his wife Jean.
In his behalf the family wishes to express thanks to the "Angels on Earth" (staff) at the Carroll Hospice "Dove House".
