Carl A. Oliver

Carl A. Oliver, Sr., beloved husband and father, passed away on October 14, 2012. Mr. Oliver has been a Laurel resident since 1959 and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Sons of Italy, Knights of Columbus, the Laurel Senior Friendship Club and the American Correctional Association. He was employed by the District of Columbia government and spent his career working with juveniles. Mr. Oliver is survived by Rachael R. Oliver, his wife of 69 years and his sons Carl A. Oliver Jr., and John M. Oliver. He is also survived by his sister Theresa Chiavacci. His daughter Patricia A. Davis and his granddaughter Gabriella M. Klatt preceded him in death. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. A funeral Mass will be on Thursday, October 18, at St. Mary's Catholic Church beginning at 11 am.
