On June 12, 2016 Carl J. Willis of Laurel, Maryland passed in the company of his family.
Carl was born in Highland, MD to the late Hance and Elvia Willis. Carl resided in Laurel with his beloved wife, Sandra, of forty-nine years and children, Carl Jr. and Nicole.
Carl could often be found watching westerns with John Wayne amongst his favorite. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, pie and his Pekingese, Camelot. Carl was always happy to be amongst friends and family; often joking and laughing, reminiscing about “old times”.
In addition to his wife and children Carl is survived by his brother, Homer Willis and his wife Janet, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding him in death are his parents and brothers, Lloyd and Clayton.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 17, 2016, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00p.m. in the Donaldson Funeral Home, 313 Talbott Ave. Laurel, Md 20707.
Graveside services will be Saturday, June 18, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in the Savage Cemetery.
Carl will be greatly missed and remains in our thoughts and prayers.
