Carol Ann Kosydar, 88, of Venice, Florida, passed away peacefully in her home on October 22, 2026. Born on November 7, 1937, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, she was the beloved daughter of Anna and Stephen Kurimchak and beloved sister of Stephen Kurimchak Jr.
Before moving to Florida in 2024 to be closer to her children, Carol called Laurel, Maryland, home for 58 years. It was there that she built a beautiful life filled with family, friendships, and countless treasured memories alongside her beloved husband, Walter, who preceded her in death in 2021.
Carol leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, Bob Kosydar and his wife, Rosemarie, of Wimauma, Florida; daughter Lindy Kosydar and her wife, Lori McCracken, of Venice, Florida; and daughter Sandy LoJacono and her husband, Ralph, of Venice, Florida. Carol was also blessed with eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Family was Carol's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. She flourished in her roles as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, pouring her heart into the family she and Walt built together. Nothing meant more to her than the love they shared and the generations that grew from it. The memories, traditions, and bonds she helped create will forever remain a part of her family's story.
Carol was also a talented and dedicated professional who worked as an executive secretary for Singer Link Corporation for over 20 years. Her commitment, skill, and years of service reflected the same dedication she brought to every part of her life.
Following her retirement, she became a treasured member of the Laurel Friendship Club, where she volunteered her time and formed many lasting friendships. The friendships she nurtured over the years were another testament to the warmth and connection she brought to the lives of those around her.
Carol's life was defined by her faith, the love she shared, the family she cherished, and the friendships she held dear.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered. May she rest in peace with her Lord and Savior.
