On Sunday, January 26, 2014, Carol Ann Strahan passed away in her home in Montgomery Village, MD at the age of 65 years old. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Strahan and her two sons, Jamison and Jeffrey Strahan. Carol was born in the Panama Canal Zone to Edward and Jean Walters on May 27, 1948. She had three sisters, Rita Walters (deceased), Linda Denniston, and Donna Sinnott. She grew up in Silver Spring, MD, but also lived abroad in Germany as the daughter of a military family. She married Patrick Strahan on July 10, 1973 and raised her two children in Laurel, MD. She spent most of her retired life in Spring Hill, Florida before returning back to Maryland in 2013 to be closer to her sons and grandchildren (Sophie, Lily, Caleb, Charlotte, and Joshua). Her life's passion was her family, and she was a dedicated mother and wife. She also worked and volunteered with sick and elderly patients and had great talent for making others happier in every aspect of their lives. She was a devout Christian and evangelized about Jesus Christ everywhere she went.

In lieu of flowers, she requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society ( https://donate.cancer.org/index ).

Visitation will be held on February 1, 2014 from 12pm -1pm at Donaldson Funeral Home in Laurel, MD. It will be followed immediately by a funeral ceremony at 1pm in the chapel on premises then her burial at Ivy Hill Cemetery, also in Laurel, MD.
