Catherine M. Cavanaugh, Cavanaugh

Catherine M. Cavanaugh "Cathy", 80, a resident of Burtonsville passed away on November 19, 2012 at her home. She was born in Scranton, PA on January 29, 1932 to the late Joseph and Juel Dunleavy. She graduated from South Catholic High School in Scranton. She worked at Fleck Funeral Home, Inc. from 1992 until her retirement in 2004.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 1991 John Michael Cavanaugh. She is survived by her three sons; Joseph, Kevin and his wife Terri, and John Cavanaugh; four grandchildren Brian and his wife Megan, Sarah, Kelly, and Collin; and twin great-grandsons Jack and Logan Cavanaugh.
Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6-8 pm at DONALDSON FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707 where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
