On December 25, 2011, Charla Jeanne Shumate, of Laurel. She was the daughter of the late Ruth Eleanor (Wills) and David Lyda Linard, Sr.; mother of the late Larry W. Shumate; sister of David L. Linard, II. She worked for many years as a beautician in Laurel, retiring in 1998. Relatives and friends may call at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel, MD 20707 on Thursday, December 29, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment Ft.
