Charles A. Burton

Charles A. Burton passed away on November 20, 2015. Born January 15, 1928, Charlie was the son of Harvey and Leathy Burton.
He served his country in the United States Navy and retired as a Project Manager for the Navy as a civilian. He enjoyed fishing, trap shooting, bowling and his horses. He was a member of the Rockville Elks club.
He is survived by his two daughters, four grandchildren and his longtime companion Hope Powell and her family. Preceding him in death is his parents, wife, Loretta and two siblings.
Visitation will be held Friday November 27, 2105 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00. Funeral service will be Saturday November 28, 2105 at 10:00 in the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. 313 Talbott Ave. Laurel, MD. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial to the Wounded Warrior Project.
