Charles Owen Puckett, affectionately known as Charlie and Primer, passed away on December 31, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and love. Born on February 25, 1966, in Maryland, Charlie was a beloved auto body technician whose expertise spanned over 40 years. His colleagues admired him not only for his unparalleled skills but also for his infectious humor, as he was forever the jokester—always delighting in playing harmless pranks on friends and coworkers.

From a young age, Charlie demonstrated a spirit of adventure; he cherished traveling and explored places with his parents such as Spain and he managed to visit every state in the USA except for Alaska. His love for motorcycling was evident, particularly in his pride and joy, a 2025 Road Glide Special and a 1999 softtail custom painted like the American flag.

He found profound joy in his role as a father to Kaitlin, spending his life nurturing and loving her and his two step kids: Constance and Justin and six grandchildren: Timmy, Tisha, Taryn, Kylie, Emma, and Jack, who lovingly referred to him as "Grampy." He took pride in making each moment special for them, often surprising them with thoughtful gifts that showcased his attentiveness and consideration.

In his everyday life, Charlie had a gentle disposition, characterized by his unwavering willingness to help those in need. He would quite literally give anyone the shirt off his back if it meant offering his help and support. Alongside his generosity, he was known for being an affectionate gift giver, whether sharing random cards and flowers, bringing home special surprises for his wife, Kim, or favorite treats for his daughter, Kaitlin.

Charlie adored his pets—Annie, Colt, Harley, and Daisy—embracing them as part of his family and indulging them with various treats, even feeding them off a fork. Early on, he had a fondness for cats and rabbits but eventually became a devoted dog person.

A man of faith, Charlie gave his life to Jesus before his passing and remained a steadfast believer in God, finding solace in the knowledge he was embarking on a journey to a better place.

He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Kimberly Jane Puckett; his daughter, Kaitlin; and his parents: David Owen Puckett and Barbara Anne Puckett. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Granny Wellman; paternal grandparents: Mommaw and Poppaw Puckett; nephew, Bryan Herzog, and his good friend, Loki.

As he rides off into the sunset to the Pearly Gates, Charlie leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories with those he has touched throughout his remarkable life.
