Cheryle Jean "Jeanie" Richard

Cheryle Jean (Mixon) Richard died Monday, July 1, 2013, in Severn, Maryland. Jeanie was born November 13, 1949 in Greenville, S.C. to Lonnie J. and Beulah M. (Dickie) Mixon. She moved with her family to Melbourne, Florida in 1958 and graduated from Melbourne High School in 1968. Jeanie went on to obtain a degree in Child Psychology from University of Central Florida in 1978.

Jeanie is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Thomas John Richard, their two sons, Gregory Allen and Michael John, and her mother, brother and three sisters.

A Memorial Mass will be conducted on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Odenton, MD, followed by light refreshments in the church hall.

Because of Jeanie's ongoing struggle with her kidneys, the family has requested donations to the National Kidney Foundation in lieu of flowers.
