Christine Benowskyj

Christine Benowskyj, beloved wife of Dale Neiburg, passed away on Sunday February 24, 2013. She had been an active resident of Laurel since 1978, being named the City of Laurel Volunteer of the Year for 2012. Christine was an Auxiliary Officer for the Laurel Police Dept., was a member of the Laurel Citizens Police Academy Alumni Assoc., Laurel CERT, Laurel 4th of July Committee and was a former member of the Laurel Oratorio Society. Mrs. Benowskyj is survived by her nieces Kathline Olds, Anne Benowskyj Roxanne Benowskyj and her nephew Thomas Benowskyj. She is also survived by her cousins Nadja Hardy, Jay Kozowyj and Waldo Kozowyj. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 7 until 9 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, 11 am, at the St. Michael's Ukraine Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gilchrist Hospice Care, 11311 McCormick Rd., Ste. 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
