Christopher Michael Reed

Chris was born in Montgomery County MD to Mary Catherin Murphy Reed & Paul DeSales Reed on February 7, 1963. He grew up in Laurel MD attending DO Eisenhower Jr High & Laurel High Schools where he played baseball.

Chris was an avid sports fan who loved the Washington Redskins, Washington Nationals & Maryland Basketball. He had a passion for his Sheet Metal work for over 30 years. He was
honored to help rebuild the Pentagon after 9-11. And had won several Craftsman Awards for the Washington Building Congress including work that he did on the Newseum & DHS Operations Center.

Chris was a very devoted husband and father. Besides Sheet Metal and sports, there was nothing that he loved more than his family. He was a great role model who always had an ear to
listen and a good word of advice. Chris was never without a kind word. He had an infectious smile and a great sense of humor, always the comedian and quick with a joke or two. To know
him was to love him.

Chris is survived by his wife, Bonnie Miller; children, Kelly Reed, Anthony Reed, Kevin Conley, Heather Traweek, Lauren Miller, & Robyn Miller; grandchildren ,Brianna Sinclair, Camryn
Sinclair & Liam Higgins; sisters ,Dottie O'Neal(Bob) & Judy Reed. He was blessed with many nieces & nephews and brothers & sisters in law. We will all deeply miss him.
