Ciania Genevieve Brownell

Ciania Genevieve Brownell, a resident of Elkridge, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.  She was 59.  She was born on January 2, 1957 to the late Wilfred and Etta (Ceasar) Kpabar in Monrovia, Liberia.  She graduated from Ricks Institute High School and University Of Liberia, where she received her Bachelor’s degree.  She worked as a Vice Principle at Cathedral High School in Liberia from 1982-1990.  She moved to the United States in 1990 and started working as a teacher for Pallotti Early Learning Center until recently, when she became too sick.

Ciania is survived by her beloved husband Daniel Brownell; loving son Wilfred Sie Brownell “Moukie”; sisters Maggie, Christiana, Rose, Winifred, Mary, Comfort and her Brother Kortu.    She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins and friends.
