Constance C. Halfpap
June 19, 1924 — January 31, 2016
Constance C. Halfpap, a longtime resident of Fulton, MD passed away on January 31, 2016 at her home. She was 91. She was born on June 19, 1924 in Dallas, Texas to the late Thomas and Mary Carmody. She enjoyed bowling, driving in the country, spending time with her family, and loved playing the slot machines. She worked for Lockheed Martin, US Parts Corps, where she met her husband George, and finally in the family business, Consumer Carpet Service until her retirement.
Constance is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years George E. Halfpap; loving children Tommie Ronemus, Sam Hutchens and his wife JoAnn, Cathy Jones and her husband Scott and the late Charlene Pumphrey; grandmother of Todd Powell (Kimberly), Carrie Mannas (Michael), Debi Vanhook (Bryan), Matthew Hutchens, Danielle Hutchens, Chris Jones, Steve Jones and Ron Pumphrey; great-grandmother of Brandon Petenbrink, Hannah Powell, Zachary Powell, Samantha Mannas, Taylor Mannas, Robert Mannas, Brent Vanhook, Kaylin Vanhook, and Sydney Vanhook; sister of the late Caroline, Elizabeth, and Thomas. She is survived by her nieces Betsy McGuyer and Carol Tutton. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Edward Ronemus.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11 am at St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church, 114 St. Mary’s Place, Laurel, MD 20707.
