Constance Dorothy Shackell Chall

Constance (Connie) Chall of Crownsville, Maryland, went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2014. She was born in Perth, Australia on May 3, 1921 to Lucy Ann and John Colin Shackell. She met the love of her life, Beverly Ray Chall, an American submarine sailor in 1942 at a dance when she was 20 and he was 18. They were married until his death in 1997 for 54 years and 9 months.

Connie leaves behind her son John and his wife Joan, grandchildren Joelle (Andrew), Jennifer (Chris), Julie (Shane), Justin (Jill) and great-grandchildren Kaylee, Porter, Brayden, Landon, Connor, Abrielle, and Collin.

Connie also leaves behind her daughter Deborah and her husband Jerry, grandchildren, Mikal (Terra), David (Lindsay), Daniel, Zachary, Paul, Sherry, Tracey (C. W.), and great-grandchildren Alex and Abigail.

Constance Chall will be long remembered for her love of family and friends, her generosity, energy, and vibrant spirit.
