Dane Thomas Benavidez

Dane Thomas Benavidez, age 32, passed away in Laurel, MD on February 19, 2023.

Born June 23, 1990 in Washington DC, Dane lived his life in Silver Spring, MD and Laurel, MD. Dane is the beloved son of Adolfo and Nancy Benavidez.  Dane worked as a Supervisor for Southwest Airlines.

In addition to his parents, Dane is survived by his grandmother Betty Thomas, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, in addition to countless friends whom Dane loved to spend time with. Dane was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Isabel Benavidez, and grandfather Gilbert Thomas.

Dane loved music, playing and performing in various bands that he was a member of, and hanging out with his friends. Dane had a big heart and would help anyone who needed it.  His immediate and extended family meant everything to him.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, MD.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:30 AM at St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church, 114 St Mary's Place, Laurel, MD 20707. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Alma, MI.
