Daniel Leo Frederick’s Sr

Age 88 of Pasadena, Maryland passed away on Thursday May 21, 2026 He was born on November 12, 1937 in Ellicott City, Maryland to his late parents Aquilla Joseph Fredericks and Mildred Luedith Fredericks . He was proceeded in death by his first wife Joan Fredericks and His beloved 2nd wife Janet Fredericks ,brother Aquilla, sisters Elizabeth,Mildred,Rebecca and Clara. His son Donald Fredericks and daughter Barbara Lankford and many other Aunts , Uncles and Cousins. He is survived by his wife, his beloved children Patricia Hurley, Daniel Fredericks Jr and Joan Poole . He was a cherished Grandfather, Great grandfather and 1 great great grand son.

Daniel was employed by the state highways as an inspector until he retired to care for his beloved wife Janet . He enjoyed taking long walks in the morning and evening. He was a devoted Catholic and was active in the church until later years in life. He loved spending holidays with his family .

Through his 88 year journey he touched many lives with his wisdom , humor and unwavering spirit of perseverance. At the young age of 12 he developed Polio and lost the use of his left arm but he never let it stop him from doing things on his own. He was a proud and independent man. He was the best dad and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Viewing Wednesday 6-8 May 27th at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue in Laurel and interment is on Thursday May 28th at 1 at Meadow Ridge cemetery on route 1.
