Darrell Louis Knox

Darrell Louis Knox was born March 9, 1968, in Memphis, TN. He was born to Riley D. and Bertha Lee Knox (born Lewis). He attended Craigmont High School and joined the US Army in 1986. Darrell served 2 years active duty before serving another 9 years in the Army National Guard. Darrell attended The University of

Memphis and earned several degrees over time. Darrell met and married Gabrielle Gary (born Boyd) July 5th, 2002. The family attended Dramatic Grace and Faith Word of Impact Ministries until relocating to Maryland in 2005. The family attended Maryland Church of God in Christ in Baltimore, MD before making Cross Creek Apostolic Church in 2014. Darrell worked in various positions as an IT Professional for various government contracting companies.

Whether in uniform or out, Darrell loved to support the troops. He loved to support the Irreverent Warriors. Darrell passed away on October 1,2022. He leaves behind his wife, Gabrielle, and two daughters: Macaria, and Mahalia. One son, Riley Knox. One stepdaughter, Sacovia Gary. His siblings are Bobbie Jean Hodges (deceased), Virginia Ann Ross, Margie Clark, Charles Lewis (deceased), Carolyn Knox, Riley D. Knox Jr. (deceased). He also leaves behind a host of cousins, and nieces; notably Carla, Kelly, and Eboni, nephews; notably George, saints, and friends.

Darrell loved playing games and spending time with his friends. Whether online or in-person, he enjoyed conversations and debates on any topic. His presence was significant, and he will be missed.
