David Cooper

David Andrew Cooper passed away April 15, 2020 at the age of 65.  David grew up and spent his life in Greenbelt and Laurel, Md.  He worked for the United States Census Bureau for 41 years, retiring in 2017.

David loved playing shooting pool and spending time with friends.  He was a member of the Chess club at work.  To most David was known simply as “Coop”. David is survived by his aunt and uncle, Judy and John Fisher.  “Coop” will be missed.

David will be laid to rest at Meadow Ridge Cemetery with his parents Elaine and William Cooper and brother “Billy”.  Most importantly David will rest in peace with family and his beloved brother Billy who died much too young, in 1968, at 16 years old.

Services for David will be private.
