David Haggerty

David Wayne Haggerty, 60 of Laurel, Md. passed away October 5, 2017.
David was born on August 25,1957 in Keyser, West Virginia
He is preceded by his sister Jeanette Pearl and his father Walter Haggerty.
David is survived by his mother Wanda Secrist {he referred to her as a “rock star mom”}
His children Wendy, Danielle and Kyle, his sisters Debbie, Donna, Diana and Julie.
David was a US Veteran who served in the United States Army and specialized as an
Airborne Paratrooper. After military David became a masonry contractor with an artist
touch. His work can be seen all over the DC Metropolitan area. David had a passion for
life and especially loved fishing.
The family is planning a celebration of his life in spring of 2018 at the Rocky Gap
Veterans Cemetery.
