Dean Emerson Louden, 58, passed away on February 24, 2024.

Dean was born on June 20, 1965, in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies, to Helene Heron Louden and Harold Patrick Louden (deceased). He was the second of three children.

At 12 years old, Dean and his sister, Andrea and brother Andrew moved to Rosedale, New York and lived with their grandmother, Ada Heron (deceased).

He graduated from Christ the King High School and then went to Hofstra University. He had a short stint in the U.S. Navy and went on to become a systems engineer.

Dean loved nature and being on the beach. He played quite a few sports; soccer in his youth and then in his adult years, played on a recreational football team. He also enjoyed playing tennis and was an avid golfer.

He will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He is survived by Margot, his wife of 28 years, and their children, Shawna, Ryan, Mackenzie, and Aidan. He had one grandson, Amir. He is also survived by his sister Andrea (Stephen), brother Andrew (Jennifer), and nephews Nicholas (Chelsea), Matthew, and Brandon, niece Avery and grandniece, Ada. He will also be missed by his close cousins and many other loving relatives, in-laws, and very dear friends.

A memorial gathering will be on March 8, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. in Laurel, MD.

A memorial service will be held on March 9, 2024.
