Deborah Ann Brogan, age 64, of Adelphi, MD, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 after a long battle with Leukemia. She was in the presence of her loving husband and under the kind and compassionate care of Casey House Hospice.
Throughout the last 3 decades of her life, Deborah bravely faced the debilitating effects of Multiple Sclerosis. She was a devout Catholic, devoted to the Divine Mercy of Jesus. She was a loving wife, godmother, and aunt. Her kind and caring nature will be missed by all of her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving family – husband William; goddaughter Ambor Brightley of Silver Spring, MD; nephew Brendan Lyons of Arlington, VA; nephews Shane Lyons and Rory Lyons of Alexandria, VA; Niece Madeline Brogan of Buffalo, NY; sister-in-law Catherine Lyons of Alexandria, VA; brother-in-law John Brogan (Kate) of Westfield, NY; and sister-in-law Maureen Buck (Ken) of Concord, MA. She was predeceased by her loving family members, Rev. Edward McElduff and Mary Garrahan.
Relatives and friends may visit Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue, Route 198 West, Laurel, MD, 20707 on Friday, November 4 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St Nicholas Catholic Church, 8603 Contee Rd, Laurel, MD 20708 (Fr. Timothy Baer) on Saturday, November 5 at 11:00 AM. T here will be a private burial for immediate family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
