Deborah L. (Debbie) Kaiser

January 1, 1962 — September 5, 2022

Laurel

Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Kaiser (Sinclair), 60, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2022 surrounded by her family. Debbie battled multiple serious health conditions for many years, and was a fighter until the end. She was a loving Daughter, Wife, Mother, MawMaw, Sister and Friend. A quiet, gentle soul with a generous heart, a beautiful smile, and a wicked sense of humor who will be missed by all.

Debbie was born to Dotty Higdon (Salzman) and Billy Sinclair, on January 1, 1962. She was the first of four children, and has lived in Laurel her entire life. As a youngster, Debbie played sports for the Laurel Boys & Girls Club, and bowled duckpin at Laurel Fair Lanes. She loved animals, but not so much horses. She often told the story of falling of a horse at her Uncle Tex’s barn, and running and locking herself in the car, instead of getting back on the horse as suggested.

In her teen years, when sports had ended, Debbie found toying with her younger sisters to be just as much fun! Her specialties included ‘pink bellies’, cutting their hair and locking them in the basement. After school you could find her hanging out with friends or family (cousins not sisters) in and around Laurel, or sporadically traveling to Ocean City, living on PB&Js all week to survive.

A few years after graduating LHS in 79’, Debbie married and gave birth to the apple of her eye, Thomas Lee Kaiser III. She loved being a mom, and felt the birth of her son was the best moment of her life. When Tommy was of toddler age, she started employment with P.G. County Public Schools as a Therapeutic Bus Aide. She worked many years for PGCS until her health required her to stop.

Debbie was a great cook and baker, and loved to eat! She didn’t discriminate as she ate all types of food! It was rare to find her without a McDonald’s ice tea. She loved watching old westerns and daily “TV Judge” shows and visits to her Mom’s. She loved to laugh, whether telling the joke, or being the joke (oh how she was gullible!). She loved listening to the oldies and dancing (picture ‘the little teapot’ with the “spout” having spasms). Mostly, however, she loved visits with granddaughter’s Savanna, Miranda and Kirsten.

Debbie was greeted in heaven by her Brother Michael, her Father Billy, Salzman & Sinclair Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Fur Babies Pup, Taz & Opie (and too many childhood pets to list).

Debbie leaves behind her husband Donnie Seek; son Tommy (Daniela) Kaiser; step-daughter Nicole Seek; granddaughters: Savanna & Miranda Kaiser and Kirsten Seek; parents Dotty & Richard Higdon; sisters: Patty (Steve) Hall & Pam (Brian) Dean; brother-in-laws: Kenny & Michel Seek; nephews: Billy & Ricky Hall and Quinn & Liam Dean; and many more loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, donations in Debbie’s name can be made to the American Kidney Fund.

A Celebration of Debbie’s Life will be held Sunday, October 16th.  Please contact patty0429@yahoo.com for details.
