Dennis Michael Barnabie

Dennis Michael Barnabie,57, a resident of Laurel for 25 years died April 2, 2012 at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia. He was born on September 28, 1954 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Gene and Ruth Ann Barnabie. He graduated from Cherry Hill West High School in 1972 in New Jersey. He received a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from The College of New Jersey where he was a member of Chi Ro Fraternity. He was also a member of St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church where he taught religious education classes for 15 years and the Knights of Columbus. He worked at Powersolv for the last 3 years and was an avid weight lifter and gardener.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years Mary Barnabie; daughters Patricia and Kathleen Barnabie; Father-In-Law George Corbin, Sr; Brothers-In-Law George Corbin, Jr., A.J. Corbin and his wife Andrea Page, and Patrick Corbin. Also survived by his nephew John Corbin and his wife Rebekah Halkyard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church, 114 St. Mary's Place, Laurel, MD 20707.
