Dolores G. Lietz

Dolores G. Lietz, 86, died February 11, 2012 at Laurel Regional Hospital. She has been a Laurel resident for 50 years. She was born on June 9, 1925 to the late Harry and Helen Gartland in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from Hallahan High School. She was a member of Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church and Black Thorn Ceili Dance Group, an Irish folk dancing group.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years Lawrence A. Lietz; her daughters Chris Gunther of Severna Park, MD, Connie Henley of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Colleen Heim of Dunkirk, MD; grandchildren Cara, Alice, Catie, Clancey, Thomas, Corey, Callahan and Casey; she is also survived by her great-granddaughters Charlotte, Georgina and Emma.
