Dora W. Mcgrath

Dora Mae Ward McGrath, 86, of Burtonsville, MD passed away February 27, 2018.

She was born on October 9th to Austin Lewis Ward and Margie Mae Bowman in 1931.

Dora was a member of Burtonsville Baptist Church. She retired from the Naval Surface Weapons Center in 1987. She was a lifetime resident of Burtonsville. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.

She is survived by two sons Kevin McGrath and his wife Julie, Eddie McGrath and his wife Jill,  four grandchildren Shane McGrath and his wife Hannah, Shannon Ellis and her husband Jake, Angie Ritchie and her husband David, and Dalon Guimont, four great grandchildren Fiona, Marcus, Jaxon and Bradley Ritchie.

She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice Parnell McGrath and son Freddie Lewis McGrath.

Viewing will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. Friday, March 2, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Memorial Service will be held at Burtonsville Baptist Church Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11:00 am.
