Doris Vivian (Harding) Sturiale

Doris Vivian Harding Sturiale (91), wife of the late Giacomo Sturiale, went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2016. She was born in Howard County, Laurel, MD to the late John W. and Geneva Harding.
During her lifetime, she worked at Phillips 5 and 10, Snyders Cleaners, and Pal Jack’s Pizza. She loved to crochet, especially afghans, and many were recipients of her loving handiwork. She was devoted to the Lord and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Laurel.
She is survived by her children Eugene Harding and his wife Pauline, Franca Spiker and her husband Jim, Sergio Sturiale, Anna Kimmell and her husband Don, and Sandra Self and her husband David; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Elmer Harding, and sisters, Grace Browning, Irma Harding, Daisy Cruz, and Joan Harding.
A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Laurel in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Laurel, 424 Main Street, Laurel, MD 20707 or charity of one’s choice.
