Doris Hedley

On Thursday March 1, 2012, Doris Hedley passed away peacefully at the Madarin Hospice House in Harwood, MD. Mrs. Hedley is survived by her daughters Irene Gamboa and Mary Jo Hoffman and her son Frank Hedley. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and her 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hedley was predeceased by her parents John and Mendie Surrency and her beloved husband, Joseph Hedley. She was a 50 year resident of Laurel, MD, was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was an Assistant to the Chancellor at the University of Maryland. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 4 until 6 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, 10am, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
