Doris Millard Poe

Doris Millard Poe, 91, formerly of Beltsville and Bowie passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at South River Nursing Home in Edgewater. She was born on October 10, 1921 in Carbondale, PA to the late Burton and Della Millard. She graduated from Hyattsville High School and retired in 1982 as a bookkeeper from WSSC. She was an avid bowler.
She is survived by her daughters Sharon Davis and her husband Jesse and Joyce Corley and her husband Ken; grandchildren Deanna, Tracy, Lisa, Dawn, and Brian; and great-grandchildren Brooke, Carl, Shelby, Jared, Kristina, Kimberly, and Bryce. She was preceded in death by her sister Ellen Behrens.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 12-1pm at DONALDSON FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707 where funeral services will begin at 1pm. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Burtonsville.
