Dorothy Susan (Dover) Mckenzie

Dorothy Susan McKenzie age 74, passed away in Baltimore, MD on Tuesday, May 31, 2022

Born April 6, 1948 in Washington, DC, Daughter of Louis & Lillie Dover. She lived in Savage, MD for many years before moving to Elkridge, MD and was able to enjoy retirement for the last 4 years.

Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Lee Trama & Kimberly Anne Gailmard, 6 grandchildren, Faith, Corey, Dylan, Haley, Korbin, Donna, and 3 siblings Judy, Mary, and Mike.  Dorothy is preceded in death by her loving parents Lillie and Lewis Dover, and her husband David.

Ms. Dottie was an animal lover. Her favorites being horses, dogs, and she was a long time parakeet owner.  She rode horses for over 50 years and felt most at home when she was in the saddle. Ms. Dottie had 12 bibles in her home. She loved to read and was very adamant about politics. She was very passionate about fairness and the American way. Ms. Dottie was an avid music lover and had a large record collection from Motown to classic, classic country, and everything in between. She was one of the toughest, most fierce women I ever knew and I was very grateful to call her mom!
