Dorothy Svec Robel

Dorothy Helen Švec Robel of Laurel, Maryland died on September 2, 2019 surrounded by her family.  She was born to Albert and Josephine Švec in Baltimore, MD.  She was an original parishioner of St. Nicholas Catholic Church of Laurel and was dedicated to her spiritual family, the building of the church and various volunteer programs for the community.  She celebrated her Czech heritage and loved time with her family and her garden.  She is survived by her children, Timothy, Robert and Patricia, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Robel, her sister, Antoinette Svatora, and brothers James and Albert Svec.  Visitation will be on September 5 , 2019 from 6pm – 8 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A.  313 Talbott Ave, Laurel, MD 20707.  Services to celebrate her life will be held at St. Nicholas Catholic Church on September 6, 2019 at 12pm, 8603 Contee Rd. Laurel, MD 20708.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Nicholas Parish Hall, 8603 Contee Rd. Laurel, MD 20708 in lieu of flowers.
