Dr. Dorothy Elizabeth Spencer Ginter passed away on November 18, 2021 at her home in Laurel, MD. Born in Corcoran, CA on February 4, 1937 to the late Henry and Alice Spencer.
Dr. Ginter earned her PhD from Vanderbilt University. She was a researcher at University of Maryland, College Park and volunteered tutoring early elementary students after she retired.
She was active with the League of Woman Voters from 1970 to 2021.
She is survived by her children: Gretchen McDaniel and Karl Ginter; and grandchildren: Lydia Ginter, Bob Ramirez, James Ramirez, Wyatt McDaniel and Morgan McDaniel.
Services and interment will be private.
