Earl William Murphy

Earl William Murphy, age 67, passed away in Edgewater, MD on December 7, 2019.

Born December 12, 1951 in Olney, MD, son of Clifton L. Murphy Sr. & Katherine (Duvall) Murphy.  He lived in Gambrills, MD and worked as a welder at Eaton, Inc. until he stopped working in 2005 due to illness.

Earl was a family man first, worked hard, went to every practice and every game his kids had.  Earl loved hunting, fast cars, motorcycles and camping.  He taught these passions to his children, for in each of them, it is easy to see part of him lives on.

Earl William Murphy is survived by Jeanne (his wife), Keith & Staci (his son and wife), Melissa and Bryan (his daughter and husband), Brandon, Cadin, Braylynn, and Kolten (his grandchildren) and Debbie Massie (his half-sister).  Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton L. Murphy Sr. and Katherine Murphy and his siblings, Clifton L. Murphy Jr. and Katherine Whitmer.

Viewings will be held on December 13, 2019, 3 - 5 PM, 7 - 9 PM (with a memorial service held at 8 PM) at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707. Relatives and friends please join us then as we celebrate his life.
