Earson "Butch" Raymond Brookman

Earson “Butch” Brookman, age 67, of Ellenboro, NC, died Thursday, October 15, 2015, at Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC.
Earson was born on May 6, 1948 in Covington, VA to the late Earson Brookman and the late Dorothy (nee Hand) Brookman. Butch lived the majority of his life in Laurel, MD and attended Howard High School. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran.
Butch’s hobbies included; cars, Nascar, gardening and sports (his favorite tems were the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Orioles).
Mr. Brookman is survived by his son Troy M. Brookman, and his wife Tanya, his daughter Crystal Brookman. his siblings; Carol Brizendine, Sharon Brown, David Brookman and Richard Brookman. He is also survived by his grandchildren Teagan Brookman and Tahlia Brookman. Butch is pre-deceased by his wife Doortje Zegstroo-Brookman.
Arrangements are being handled by Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, Saturday, October 24, 2015. Funeral service will be at Donaldson Funeral Home at 1:30 PM, Saturday, October 24, 2015. Interment will be at Union Cemetery.
