Edith Louise Lowery Kelson

Edith Louise Kelson passed away on June 12, 2019.  She was born June 27, 1936 in Ilchester, MD to James Amon Lowery and Dorothy Iris O’Neill.  She lived in Ellicott City, Laurel and New Jersey.  Edith worked at Consumer Research in Brass Castle, NJ in a technical capacity during the 1960’s.  After moving to Sussex County, she worked at Darlington Mills and Air Filters.  Edith moved back to Maryland to assist her parents who managed the kitchen at Laurel Race Track in 1986.  She took over the business and left for a career at Worldcom in 1993.  She retired at 72 years of age.  She is survived by her children, grandchildren, grandchildren, three sisters, a son-in-law and daughter-in-law, and extended family.  She touched many lives and will be missed by all.
