Edward Charles Haffner

Edward Charles Haffner, 72, a resident of Laurel for 30 years passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at his residence. He was born on March 23, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA to the late William and Esther Haffner. He graduated from Olney High School in Philadelphia and Loyola University in Baltimore. He was a member of the Freestate Happy Wanderers Walking Club. He was also a Historic Buff, loved reading books on history. He worked as an accountant at W.R. Grace, Thompson's Dairy, National Academy of Sciences, and Department of Army.
Edward is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years Lynne Haffner; loving daughter Shellie Mejia and her husband Milton Mejia Moran; sister Bette Tumir and her husband Chris; grandson Anthony Haffner; nephews Chris Tumir, Jr. and Michael Breeze and niece Carol Breeze.
