Edward Rosemond Stanford

Edward Rosemond Stanford, Jr.,92, of Gaithersburg, MD passed away August 9, 2012 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville. He was born on April 1, 1920 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Edward Rosemond and Elizabeth (Wright) Stanford. He was a graduate of Southwestern University and University of Texas Law School. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of WWII. He worked as an attorney in a private practice in Texas and later for the Veterans Administration. He was also a lifelong Methodist.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lucile Stanford. He is survived by his children Elizabeth Stanford, Penny Mongeluzzo and her husband Bob, and Edward Rosemond Stanford and his wife Gale; his grandchildren Michael, Jonathan, Eric, Valerie, Bobby, and Kari; and two great-grandsons Thomas and Robert.
